The attacker has scored 5 finishes in ten La Liga outings this season.

Los Merengues forward Vinicius Jr has said sorry to the fanbase for his conduct when taken off in the recent fiery Clasico clash victory.

Vinicius was substituted in the 72nd minute and displayed his disappointment by going straight to the dressing room.

The Brazilian eventually reappeared to the bench and, after his club's 2-1 win, tried to confront Barcelona's opposing player during unsavoury final whistle exchanges.

"Now I want to say sorry to all the supporters for my behavior when I was taken off in the Clasico," he wrote on social media.

"In the same way as I have previously expressed during today's practice, I also want to express regret anew to my colleagues, the organization, and the president.

"Occasionally passion gets the better of me because I always want to win and help my side. My competitive character originates in the love I feel for this club and each thing it symbolizes."

The player joined Real from his former club in recent years for millions and has accumulated 111 goals in numerous matches.

But his future in the Spanish capital is uncertain with rumors in lately stating that Real would consider allowing the player leave if they obtained a suitable offer.

When he was substituted on that day, broadcast footage from network the service recorded him remarking: "It's always me! I'm exiting the club! It's wiser if I leave, I'm going."

In his latest post on X, he said: "I promise to keep striving constantly for the benefit of Real Madrid, as I have performed since the very beginning."
