The parent organization of British Airways, the airline group, confirmed it had secured an agreement involving SpaceX for providing wifi coverage across over 500 planes operated by its airlines, which also include Aer Lingus, Iberia, plus Vueling.

Smooth Wifi from Gate to Arrival

The airline stated that the introduction of the system formed part of a multi-billion pound “transformation” initiative and would provide lag-free internet coverage for flyers from boarding to arrival, including when they are flying above oceans or isolated areas.

Travelers can hook up numerous devices and won't need to have to use a unique access code.

Revolutionary for British Airways as well as our customers, elevating onboard service onboard with us by giving customers continuous wifi from gate to gate.”
